Course Objectives
The objective of this course to introduce the key concepts and develop a basic understanding of how a safety instrument system (SIS) is assessed, designed, installed, commissioned, operated, managed and maintained to the required level of risk reduction.
This course assists in developing a basic understanding of the competencies required to manage the SIS from management to technician and is a good introductory course for those wishing to progress to the third party accredited SIS functional safety engineer course.
